Services Offered
There are five components of the SchoolEthos.ie service:
 
1. Electronic Newsletter (monthly September - June)
A full-colour newsletter  loaded with topical articles and practical tools distributed monthly which provides links to multimedia resources, upcoming events, polls and surveys.
 
2. Religious Education Resource Centre
Unlimited web based access to a lending library of over 2,000 books, DVD’s, videos, CDs and textbooks. 

3. Online Learning Environment
The Open Learning Environment will offer the opportunity to download documents, posters, presentations, video clips and podcasts for classroom and whole-school use.  It will also provide users the opportunity to access other teachers’ resources as well as upload your own.  Topic areas include: school policy development; justice and peace; student leadership; service learning; pastoral tools; religious education resources

4.  Seminar Series
SchoolEthos.ie will offer a series of regional seminars during the school year that will address topical issues for teachers and principals.  These will be offered regionally free of charge to members.   Seminars will include topics such as: Coping with a Crisis; Including Students of Other Faiths; Using New Technology for Religious Education; Imagination and the Arts; The School Ethos Development Process.  Seminars will offer formal accreditation where possible and have the potential to lead to higher level postgraduate studies in Marino Institute of Education.

5. Annual Retreat/Pilgrimage
SchoolEthos.ie will offer opportunities for teachers to take time-out for themselves through:

• Days of Spirituality and “Re-fuelling”
• Pilgrimage opportunities in Ireland and abroad
